We assisted in the renovation of two residential buildings in Becskeháza village, which were in a very deteriorated state.
Both buildings are pre-war and bear the stylistic features of vernacular architecture, such as the gabled roof and porch. The two buildings are adjacent to each other, set on a long, narrow plot, built on the northern boundary of the plots. They are accessed from the main road via a slight rise.
During the renovation and conversion, almost only the perimeter walls remain, the dwellings are converted into accommodation. The farm parts at the ends of the buildings: stables/barns will be converted into communal spaces, allowing small events to be held.
The two buildings will be connected by a covered terrace and the attic will be converted into an attic, as part of a complete energy renovation.
The accommodation will have a total capacity of 20 people.
