Apartment hotel - renovation and conversion - interior design:
Interior conversion of an existing reinforced concrete frame building structure, former office building into an accommodation building.
The Respected Client saw an opportunity to develop accommodation in the surroundings of the industrial area due to urban developments in the wider surroundings of the building, therefore modifying the internal corridor layout of the closed office design to create apartments of 30-45 m2 with complete renovation of the external environment, parking parks and parks.

Rarely is there a design task where the designer and client have the same taste. This project reflects the tastes of this designer and his client, a renowned businessman who, in addition to his love of extreme sports, is also an exclusive collector of sports cars. The house has a modern look, with a ground floor, green roof appearance, large glass and shading surfaces, but all this was achieved in such a discreet way that the building was sunk into the ground so that visitors to the building would notice almost nothing of the building. The real splendour of the house is revealed from the lakeside, which is private land.

Rural accommodation on the shore of Dobódél lake - study design
Although we do not recommend the lightweight construction method to anyone because of its less favourable energetic properties, it can be a good choice for a temporary use building.
The buildings can accommodate 4-5 people each. The houses are traditionally heated by wood-burning stoves. A covered porch has been built in front of the entrance to the buildings.
The kitchen and living room form a single air space with double height ceilings and exposed woodwork, from where the stairs lead up to the attic bedroom.

We have planned accommodation buildings for Szilvásvárad this winter.
Two plots, three separate buildings, designed for different target groups.
The first building "A" would be for small families and couples. 3 apartments have been built in it.
The second building "B" would be for large families with a capacity of 8-9 people.
The third building "C" is designed with a common courtyard and common rooms. It is suitable to host a group of friends or even a small local conference with 6 apartments with a capacity of 3-4 persons.
Instead of outdoor courtyard pools, we decided to build a separate jacuzzi for each apartment.
A rural living environment, side-building, high roof design was the requirement, a "cube house" environment, even if this is not visible on the two neighbouring buildings.
We played a little with the roof bridges.

We assisted in the renovation of two residential buildings in Becskeháza village, which were in a very deteriorated state.
Both buildings are pre-war and bear the stylistic features of vernacular architecture, such as the gabled roof and porch. The two buildings are adjacent to each other, set on a long, narrow plot, built on the northern boundary of the plots. They are accessed from the main road via a slight rise.
During the renovation and conversion, almost only the perimeter walls remain, the dwellings are converted into accommodation. The farm parts at the ends of the buildings: stables/barns will be converted into communal spaces, allowing small events to be held.
The two buildings will be connected by a covered terrace and the attic will be converted into an attic, as part of a complete energy renovation.
The accommodation will have a total capacity of 20 people.

We were given a special assignment to design a wellness accommodation building in Bódvaszilas.
The plot is a 27x167 metre pants belt plot, with a through plot situation, i.e. it is bordered on both (short) sides by a road. The uniqueness of the task was that the plot has a slope of more than 25 cm at 1 metre backwards from the road. This means that if, for example, only a 4 m room depth is calculated, then starting from the street and going 4 m horizontally, the difference in height will be > 1 m. The width of the plot was narrow enough to allow the mass of the building to be placed parallel to the street frontage. The situation was complicated by the fact that the height of the building could only be 4.5 m and that, according to the Urban Development Plan, it could only be built with a hipped pitched roof and a pitch of between 38 and 45 degrees. The building was therefore designed with a staggered floor plan, with long corridors on the northern sides closer to the site boundary, with half-/full-height stairs following the slope of the ground. These corridors open onto the 2-3 bed suites and other rooms. The building is divided into two main areas, one of which is the main building, where the reception and the guest reception area are located, and from here there is a separate entrance to the wellness rooms (jacuzzi, sauna) and their changing rooms. In the other wing there are 9 suites with separate entrances. Behind them are the communal areas (kitchen, dining room, living room), which are separated from the outside by a glass curtain wall on the north-eastern side of the building, allowing views of the landscape from the hillside. Compliance with the 4.5 m building height specification was achieved by adjusting the pitch of the roof eaves and ridge line to match the ground. The width of the building has been chosen to be no greater than 8m, so the 40 degree pitched roof design means that the mass/roofline of the building does not project above the surrounding buildings. This was also important because the building is immediately adjacent to a Reformed church built in the early 19th century. The design of the street façade was designed in a neutral style, with only a simple covered porch connecting the main building and the apartment wing.
The building is heated by a heat pump with solar renewable energy.
An outdoor swimming pool will be built on the site, as well as an indoor stage with an 80-seat auditorium and a smaller 10x20 m multi-purpose sports field.
